Kenji is in one of those stages where he randomly decides that the direction we are traveling in — or the block we are traversing — is not suitable for him.
We have had public stand-offs that have lasted for 10 minutes; the dog will not give in.
I don’t want to drag him, so I ultimately let him make the choice and control the walk: North, South, East or West. The problem is, now it seems that those four choices are not good enough. And do you know where that leaves us? Standing in the middle of nowhere!
I’m trying to save him the embarrassment of carrying 28lbs. of cuteness in my arms back home. But I’m getting frustrated. So if you see some poor guy hauling a red Shiba on foot, that could be me and Kenji!
Kenji hates the following 10 things (in no particular order):
- blowing plastic bags - skidding cars - manhole covers - garbage day - spicy foods - rain - being picked up - getting anything stuck on the bottom of his paws - if he has any extra poop dangling from his butt - helicopters
